Looking to reduce wrinkles, restore lost volume, and look younger without surgery? If so, dermal fillers may be a great option for you. Dermal fillers are formulated with hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in your body that helps hydrate and nourish your skin.
As you get older, your face tends to lose volume, making dermal fillers an excellent anti-aging treatment. At Brown Plastic Surgery, we offer two different dermal fillers: Juvederm and Restylane. Both my talented nurse injector Skyler Soares and I use products containing lidocaine, which reduces pain and discomfort during your procedure. Keep reading to learn how they work and how long they last.
I am pleased to offer the full line of Juvederm fillers. Juvederm Voluma XC is specifically formulated to add volume to your cheeks and mid-face region. We use Juvederm Volbella XC for your lip area, as it can give your lips subtle volume and soften the wrinkles surrounding them.
Juvederm Vollure XC is softer than Juvederm Voluma XC, but more powerful than Juvederm Volbella XC. Juvederm Vollure XC may be a good option if your primary concern is fine lines and wrinkles. I’ll likely recommend Juvederm Ultra XC if you have thinning lips as it can plump them and treat lip lines simultaneously.
Dermal fillers Consultations Available
In addition to Juvederm, I offer four types of Restylane treatments. Restylane Lyft resolves volume loss in the cheeks, and is also FDA approved to restore the appearance of aging hands.
Restylane Refyne is intended to improve the look of mild to moderate smile lines and folds, while Defyne treats moderate to severe smile lines and folds.
To add fullness to lips and improve lines surrounding them, Restylane® Silk is an option.
During your consultation, we will evaluate your anatomy, consider your goals, and determine which dermal fillers would best suit your needs.
