Increase your comfort and confidence in and out of the bedroom
Genital rejuvenation surgery addresses all of the different issues a woman may have related to the vaginal canal or the labia. Genetics, childbirth, or aging may leave you with a more stretched vaginal canal, or excess inner labia tissue that makes you feel self-conscious. Excess inner labia tissue may also lead to pain or discomfort during sex or exercise and prevent you from wearing swimsuits or other tight clothing items. More rarely you can have enlarged or not enough tissue in the labia majora or outer labia. Genital rejuvenation surgery may be just what you need to correct the issues that may bother you. Labiaplasty specifically addresses issues related to the labia and Vaginoplasty addresses issues related to the vaginal canal.
Am I A good candidate For
You are an ideal candidate for labiaplasty:
- If you are self-conscious about the appearance of your labia
- If you have painful or uncomfortable sex as a result of the size and shape of your labia
- If you experience discomfort, soreness, or tenderness during intercourse
- If your labia is noticeable in swimsuits or other tight-fitting clothing items
During a labiaplasty procedure, Dr. Brown will administer general or local anesthesia and mark the area to indicate where the tissue will be removed. Scars heal well and are almost not noticeable by 1-2 months time. You can expect a reshaped labia that will improve your confidence and reduce any discomfort you may have faced in the past.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Dr. Brown’s labiaplasty typically takes 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Patients should arrange a friend or family member to drive them home following the procedure.
What Results Will I See?*
- (1) Rejuvenated labia minora and/or majora
- (2) Imporves or resolves discomfort with sex
- (3) Improved appearance when wearing swimsuits or other tight clothing items
- (4) Increased confidence in and out of the bedroom
Is There Any Downtime?*
After a labiaplasty, you may experience some discomfort and swelling as your genital area will be red and tender. These symptoms can be relieved with pain medication and should only last a few days.
Since full recovery can take three to four weeks, Dr. Brown recommends you stay home from work for a few days, avoid vigorous activity for about two weeks, and refrain from sex for six weeks.
