HOW MUCH DOES A MOMMY MAKEOVER COST?

Becoming a mother is one of the most rewarding experiences women can go through. However, after giving birth, they may long for their pre-baby figures. Even though they may be able to lose some of their baby weight by eating healthy and exercising regularly, they may still find it difficult to achieve the bodies they once had.

That’s where a mommy makeover comes in. A mommy makeover can help you restore your body after having kids so you can feel good about the way you look. Let’s dive deeper into what a mommy makeover is and how much you can expect to pay if you choose to go this route.

WHAT IS A MOMMY MAKEOVER?

A mommy makeover refers to a combination of multiple plastic surgeries that are intended to minimize unwanted pregnancy fat and tighten slackened skin. It can help you achieve a firmer, slimmer physique.

Most mommy makeover procedures involve a breast reduction or breast lift. A breast reduction can help you if you’ve developed large breasts that have led to back pain and other issues while a breast lift may be a good option if your goal is to lift sagging breasts.

Since you may struggle with getting rid of stubborn belly fat that was left behind after pregnancy and birth, your mommy makeover may also consist of a tummy tuck. A tummy tuck or abdominoplasty can flatten your abdomen area and remove fat that may be resistant to diet and exercise.

Liposuction may also make sense if you’d like to get rid of unwanted fat deposits in various areas of your body such as the hips, thighs, abdomen, and buttocks. It can improve the overall contour of your body.

MOMMY MAKEOVER PRICING

There are a number of factors that will determine the total cost of your mommy makeover. The number and type of procedures you undergo as well as the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia fee, and post-surgery fees will all play a vital role in the price. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the overall cost for a mommy makeover can range from $9,000 to $20,000.

I had a few meeting with some local plastic surgeons since I had been wanting and researching a mommy makeover for nearly a year. I found a site called RealSelf and was able to post some questions and get responses from actual surgeons. Dr. Rick Brown was kind enough to give me some feed back so I scheduled a consult with him and a couple of other surgeons in the area. The first surgeon I met with was very well known and had a ton of great reviews. I thought he was very nice and kind but I was still just hesitant. Dr. Brown was my next consult. After meeting with his staff I felt like we we’re old friends! He really listened to what I was looking for and even added some recommendations of his own. I felt so confident that he was my surgeon that I paid the deposit before I left. After waiting a couple of months for surgery I kept waiting to feel anxious or scared but that feeling truly never came over me. Even the morning of surgery I was excited. I stayed overnight at the Scottsdale Recovery Center and was treated so wonderful by every nurse on staff. They got me up and walking and we’re right there whenever I needed them. I had delicious snacks and food and it just felt so nice to be taken care of so well. I had a medication called Exporel used to help pain management for surgery and I would definitely recommend it. I am 8 days out of surgery and only use my Percocet just to sleep comfortably at night. Otherwise I have had more pain during the day after being sore from working out too hard in the past! My results are amazing! I almost want to cry when I see myself in the mirror. It’s just something I always wanted to feel happy in my body and Dr. Brown and his staff truly have changed my life. I could not more highly recommend him as a surgeon to anyone! I trusted him and his staff with my life and have zero regrets. If you are considering a procedure I highly recommend going in for a consult. #bodiesbybrown
