Procedure: Breast Revision

41 year old female nurse who I consulted with in Sun City office to discuss implant exchange surgery. She had saline implants placed many years prior. She had spontaneous rupture of her left breast implant a few months before seeing me. We discussed upgrading to silicone implants because of her thin skin envelope. She underwent left capsule modification and placement of bilateral submuscular 350cc Mentor Moderate Plus Profile Smooth Round Memory Gel Implants. She is shown here nine months after surgery.

Procedure: Breast Revision

55 year old female who I saw in my Sun City office to discuss breast augmentation revision surgery. Her first operation was performed in 1993 by another surgeon. She currently has saline implants beneath the pectoralis muscle inflated to 320cc’s. Her desire was to have larger breasts that were more full at the top of her breasts as well as better cleavage. I took her to the operating room and removed her saline implants. I revised the pockets to accommodate new silicone implants. I placed Allergan style 45 high profile silicone implants with a 650cc volume into each pocket. She now has excellent fullness over the upper poles of her breasts with a much better shape to her cleavage and overall breast.

Procedure: Breast Revision

67 year old female that I saw in my Scottsdale office to discuss revision breast surgery. She had Dow Corning silicone implants placed in the 1970’s. She suffered a ruptured implant and desired to have them removed and replaced. She also suffered capsular contractures on both sides. I performed removal of capsule and implants on both sides followed by saline implant placement. Each implant was inflated to a final volume of 400cc’s on each side. Saline implants were used and were good implants for her because she has adequate breast volume coverage over the implants.

Procedure: Breast Revision

71 year old female that I consulted with to discuss revision breast surgery. She had breast implants previously placed below the muscle and there was the question on her MRI that the left breast implant might be ruptured. Her desires were for slightly larger breasts that were more lifted. In surgery I removed both hardened capsules with her old implants, and placed sutures to modify the breast pockets. She required Mentor memory gel smooth round high profile silicone implants with a volume of 400cc’s on the right and 450 cc’s on the left. A breast lift procedure was then performed to lift the existing breast tissue upwards so that it was in a position overlying the new breast implants. She is seen here in her post-operative pictures 3 months after surgery.
