Appear younger and more masculine with a facelift/neck lift for men
While the aging process cannot be completely stopped, if you have displeasing facial features and neck contour is a problem, men may seek facial rejuvenation or Rhytidectomy surgery. Excessive fat and/or skin in the face and neck area can often undermine a man’s confidence and self-esteem. The sagging of the face and neck area can make them appear aged.
Excess facial skin and deep creases around the mouth and nose can also make men look older than they really are. A facelift and neck lift procedure can be performed to tighten the skin and underlying muscles to improve the overall contour of a man’s face, neck, and jawline.
Am I a Good Candidate For
a facelift/neck lift?
You’re a good candidate for male facelift/neck lift:
- If you are a healthy, non-nicotine using patient for more than one month
- If you have skin laxity on your face and neck
- If it looks like you have sagging cheeks or “double chin”
- If you’d like a more defined jawline
- If you’d like to look like a younger version of yourself
Facelift/Neck Lift for Men Procedure
Dr. Brown will evaluate your specific features to determine which surgical technique is best suited for you. Your facelift and neck lift may be performed in combination with other facial procedures to help achieve your desired goals.
It is very rare that a patient is a candidate for neck lift only surgery, however, your situation may be simple enough that it only requires a neck lift. Dr. Brown will be sure to review your goals and examine your specific anatomy at your consultation in order to produce a treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs.

Is There Any Downtime?
You will have swelling and bruising for 2-3 weeks after surgery and wear special dressings that Dr. Brown will instruct you to care for. A surgical drain may need to be removed one to two days after surgery.
Seven to 10 days after surgery, your sutures will be removed. You’ll need to refrain from heavy lifting or strenuous exercise for six weeks. You can expect to take two weeks off of work.
