Case 7405 

This 35-year-old male patient came to Dr. Brown to discuss Gynecomastia Surgery. Many years prior to his meeting with Dr. Brown he had a male reduction procedure to reduce enlargement of the right breast. Several years after that procedure he developed enlargement of the left breast as well. Dr. Brown used ultrasound liposuction first to reduce as much of the Gynecomastia tissue on the left first followed by direct excision of additional tissue from the left breast. The incision was carried around the lower border of the areola. He had more tissue removed on the right from his first surgery than Dr. Brown removed on the left. Dr. Brown did remove only the hardened Gynecomastia tissue from the left. Overall he is very happy with his result and has much better contour of the left breast.
