How Does Ultrasonic Liposuction Work?Similar to traditional liposuction, ultrasonic liposuction uses cannula (small tubes) to suction fat from under your skin and leave your body with the contours you want. However, ultrasonic liposuction is a more advanced technique than traditional liposuction.
During your ultrasonic liposuction procedure, we will inject fluid into the treatment area. This fluid with numb the area and cause it to swell. With an ultrasonic device, Dr. Brown will liquefy the fat beneath your skin so that it can more easily be suctioned out. This procedure allows for more exact contouring of the treatment area and usually provides a quicker recovery than traditional liposuction.
